Photos I found whilst 'rakin' in the loft.

The first one is of the Cambuslang Ladies Caledonian Pipe Band. As my mother is no longer alive I have guessed it would have probably been taken about 1944. Some of the girls who were in the photo are, and not in any order: Ria Flockhart (my mum) Annie Brew, Barbara Brew, Betty Craig, Marion Edgar, Mary Stewart and Molly Walker. Again if any of your older surfers out there can put names to the faces all the better.

The next photo, again a guess at the date but probably around 1941/2. It is the 1st Flemington Girls Guildry going to a parade in the Cambuslang Public Park and I am sure I remember my mum saying they went to the band stand. The girls are from left to right; Sadie Millar don't know the one in the middle and then my mum Ria Flockhart.
